On her search for the killers, she becomes increasingly cornered herself and must face the abyss of her own harrowing past. Soon, Blum realizes that her husband was murdered because he was in the process of uncovering terrible secrets. In the series, Blum is the owner of a funeral home in a renowned ski resort and the loving mother of two young children. It was created for television by Barbara Stepansky, Wolfgang Mueller, and Benito Mueller. Woman of the Dead was directed and co-executive produced by Nicolai Rohde. Consisting of six episodes, the series is based on Bernhard Aichner’s book ( buy at Amazon). Netflix announced today that the Austrian-German Woman of the Dead adaptation will launch on January 5, 2023.
